Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities

The Y Achievers program affords local businesses and corporations an opportunity to participate in the academic, professional and cultural development of Philadelphia-area youth. Local business support the Y Achievers by hosting worksite tours, encouraging employees to become Adult Achievers and making financial contribution to ensure the continued success of the program.
Sponsorship Opportunites
Corporations interested in supporting the YMCA Achievers program may do so in a number of ways. Business located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania may benefit from participation in the Educational Improvement Tax Credit, by providing a two-year commitment of up to $200,000 to the program in any tax year. For their support, a tax credit of up to 90% may be provided; for more information and program application, visit www.state.pa.us.
Businesses who do not wish to utilize the EITC program may also support ACHIEVERS through its Achievers in Business & Industry Awards Banquet, our gala scholarship fundraiser used to honor outstanding graduating seniors, Corporate, Adult, and Collegiate Achievers. Proceeds from this fundraiser go directly toward the YMCA Achievers Graduating Senior Scholarship Fund; for more information on how to support the program through this method, please contact Achievers Director Tracie Q. Gilbert, at (215) 235-6550, x. 1711, or tqgilbert@philaymca.org
